About us
The next generation of tennis lessons
NextGen Tennis was founded in 2023 with a clear mission: to let as many people as possible enjoy the best sport there is. We teach at tennis club ZLTB on Kon. Wilhelminastraat in Zwolle, with clay courts outside and the heated air hall in winter.
Our coaches are young, enthusiastic and know what they are doing. They combine modern teaching methods with the belief that tennis should be fun above all. Whether you are six or sixty: we would love to see you on court.
Fun and progress go hand in hand. That is why every lesson is different, challenging and focused on what you need. Recreational, performance driven or somewhere in between: at NextGen Tennis anything is possible.
Meet the team
Your coaches
Young, driven and KNLTB licensed. These are the faces of NextGen Tennis.
Vincent Schadee
Owner & coachHappiest when he is on court all day. Vincent plays mixed premier division himself, holds a degree in Business and builds every lesson just a little differently: lots of hitting, clear tips and always fun. With him you go home with something new every week.
Kjell de Hek
Owner & coachPlays national competition in the Top and Premier divisions, but his biggest kick is a student pulling something off for the first time. With Kjell every lesson has a goal: build up smartly, get a step better every week. Structured and contagiously enthusiastic.
Arjen Huttema
CoachTeaches with the Tennis Coach A diploma in his pocket (since 2020) and has strengthened the team since 2025. Arjen studies Sports Science and looks beyond technique alone: movement, fitness and above all fun. His lessons feel like play, while you secretly learn a lot.
Tennis kids
From red to yellow
We follow Tenniskids, the official KNLTB programme. Children learn tennis in colour stages that grow with their age and level: every colour has its own court size, ball and pace. This way your child is always challenged in the right way.
Red
up to 8 yearsOn a mini court of 11 metres with a soft, slow red ball. Learning to rally and play the first points.
Orange
8 to 10 yearsA three-quarter court and a slightly faster orange ball. Rallies get longer and real matches are added.
Green
10 to 12 yearsThe full court with a slightly slower green ball. Technique and tactics are refined further and further.
Yellow
from ±12 yearsThe switch to the regular yellow ball on the full court. Ready for club and KNLTB competition and tournaments.
